"Beau-Port's initial designs were amazing and they understood exactly what I wanted, with great 3D designs showing attention to every detail. I now have a kitchen that is the heart of the home and where everyone could relax and enjoy the space together. It has really changed the way we live. The family gathers around the central island and my children are spending more time with me and together, rather than in their respective bedrooms,"Jo Bowler
Visiting a kitchen showroom can be as much as about identifying what you don't like as what you do. Before you start to design your perfect kitchen or open plan living space, it is useful to make a list of the things that irritate you in your current kitchen, however small they might be. Add this to things that work well and a wish list of what you would like to include in your new kitchen. Inherited kitchens often won't fulfil your needs and a kitchen you have previously designed may no longer work for you as your life evolves and your needs change. By engaging your designer early, often before any work commences, achieves the highest levels of customer satisfaction and the optimum kitchen design.
Walk around the showroom with the designer, look and discuss all the options. For example; you may find you would like to combine different ideas that are on display or create a contemporary style but use hand crafted units. There will probably elements that you have not considered or are not on your wish list.
Beau-Ports' experienced designers have a passion for design and attention to detail. They will spend time with you and ask questions about your lifestyle and how you plan to use your new kitchen. They can offer you practical solutions, show you previously completed projects and give you an idea of what it might cost to recreate them or something similar. Armed with the right information they can then start to build a picture of your dream kitchen. It is also useful if you have dimensions or photographs of your current kitchen and an idea of your budget although nothing is ever written in stone.
If you like what you hear, the next stage requires accurate dimensions. The designers can advise you how to best to do this. If you require a full survey, there will be a charge of £200 which will be deducted from the final cost of the kitchen if you go ahead. This cost covers the designers time and the work involved to do the survey.
When the designer has all information, he will invite you back for a showroom appointment to take a full brief, so that he can commence drawing your beautiful new kitchen. This process can take a few days to a couple of weeks to complete, dependant on the size of the space and how complex the design is. The designer can then make a presentation to you with all the visuals and an estimated cost. A written quotation is prepared for you to take away, visuals will not be released until such time as you have made a commitment and a deposit has been paid.
After this, final tweaks can be made and costed, a contract will be issued as well as scheduled timing's for delivery and fitting to enable you to tie it in with other trades you may be using. The team at Beau-Port will work closely with your builder and architect. Alternatively, they can offer full project management, working with their own construction partners to cover all elements of the project. Each of these will be costed separately for clarity and transparency.
On completion of the project the designer will visit to obtain the final sign off. If there are any elements that you believe require attention these can be discussed and agreed in writing. Customer satisfaction is at the very heart of Beau-Port Kitchens, read their testimonials from many satisfied customers. Returning customers have commissioned us to complete other interior projects in their homes, including bedrooms, bathroom furniture, boot rooms, wine cellars and home offices.
