Kitchen Design - where do I begin?
Engaging a kitchen designer early really does achieve the best results. The design team at Beau-Port Kitchens love a challenge, visit them and you will discover there's no hard sell and none of the restraints of a large company. As a family run business you will get a personal service from day one. However, its important to start collecting ideas before you even visit a showroom. Take some photos of your current kitchen and outline drawings of the new space if you are extending or removing walls, doors or windows. Put together a wish list of things you would love to include and things you can live without and things which you feel you could compromise on. For example you may want a water softener but feel you could live without or compromise on a waste disposal unit? Next visit Beau-Port Kitchens showroom in Bentworth near Alton or Southsea in Portsmouth or make an appointment to have a one to one consultation with a designer. By making an appointment you get the designers undivided attention. Bring all the relevant information with you. Walk around the showroom and get a look and feel of what's on offer. There are over 3000 combinations of the German contemporary kitchen range we offer, so you will only see a fraction of what's available but its a great starting point,. Alternatively if you favour a handmade traditional shaker style painted kitchen or a contemporary handmade kitchen then there are a number of these on display in the showroom.
There's no obligation to buy, no pressure on sales targets and no hard sell. Each kitchen is designed to the customers needs and arrives as rigid furniture ready for installation. The handmade kitchens are totally bespoke which each unit built to your sizes and specifications. The designers at Beau-Port recognise a new kitchen is a big investment no matter how big or small your budget might be. They will explore how you intend to use your new kitchen and listen to your needs. From here they can start to build a mental image of your new dream kitchen. If you like what you hear then its time to engage your kitchen designer. At Beau-Port kitchens we are happy to do a home visit, to survey the property but we do make a small charge for this service. However, the charge is taken off your final invoice if you decide to go ahead.
If you decide to proceed, we then start to draw up plans and produce coloured renders of your new dream kitchen. You will be invited back to the showroom for a full presentation and a deposit will be paid at this stage if the designs are approved by you. We do not release the drawings or designs to you, but make any tweaks or changes based on the presentation. The final drawing will include any refinements, worktops and flooring. A final price will be presented, schedule drawn up and contract signed. Delivery will be set at an agreed date as the furniture will be delivered direct to your home ready for installation. There are no facilities to store furniture so it is important that the dates set are adhered to. An important consideration if building work is being undertaken or you are working with other trades people. We envisage any unforeseen problems will be covered during the installation, prior to final sign off. Customer satisfaction is paramount to our business. We believe the quality of the furniture and appliances we supply and the service we provide are the reasons for our success, repeat business, customers who come to us on recommendation from previous customers, builders, developer and architects.
